What decides the price

• Size and thickness. Square footage, and whether the slab is four inches or more.
• Condition. A bare pad is a pour. A failed slab on failed base is a tear-out, a dig-out and a pour.
• Access. Whether a truck can back up to the forms or everything moves by buggy. This can double the labor on its own.
• Finish. Broom is the baseline. Exposed aggregate and stamped work cost more in material and in labor.
• Disposal. Concrete is charged by weight at the tip. An honest quote includes it.
• Permits. Public way work and aprons usually need one, and that is time as well as fee.

Why we do not post a price per square foot

Because it would be wrong half the time. A 600 square foot driveway on sound base is a very different job from the same driveway sitting on clay with no stone under it, and a number that ignores that difference is a number someone has to walk back later.
