One county line, two sets of rules

Concrete on the lakefront in Waukegan or Zion takes wind and salt off the lake. Out west in Barrington Hills and Hawthorn Woods the lots are acres and the driveways are long enough that base depth and drainage decide everything. The big central subdivisions in Gurnee, Vernon Hills and Mundelein have thousands of original builder driveways all coming due at once.

North of the state line the freeze-thaw is identical but the paperwork is not. Wisconsin villages write their own walk and apron specs, and we work to whichever applies. Kenosha, Pleasant Prairie and Bristol are all inside our normal radius.
